From a troubled past, financial collapse, and physical trauma to healing, rebuilding, and thriving —
I’m living proof that it’s possible to reset your identity and collapse time when you stop living from trauma and start creating from truth.
At 14, I left home and entered a world that demanded survival. My youth was marked by chaos, instability, and a physically and mentally abusive relationship that lasted until I was 19. Despite it all, I graduated high school in Edmonton with music credits in singing and piano — even when life around me felt completely unharmonized.
In my mid-20s, I went back to college and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Simon Fraser University. I worked in finance, studied for the CFA exam, and climbed my way up — but I was still operating in survival mode. At 27, I went through a painful divorce that triggered another downward spiral, compounding the emotional weight I hadn’t yet been able to fully process.
That fight-or-flight wiring from past trauma led to decisions that spiraled into bankruptcy. Rock bottom was humbling — and it was the beginning of something powerful.
I also faced significant physical health challenges: a serious concussion and brain injury, a massive dog bite to my right quadriceps, followed by six torn ligaments
in my right leg that left me unable to walk for two months. I battled gout and other health issues — all rooted in chronic stress and years of living in a dysregulated nervous system.
I spent the next five years rebuilding — not just financially, but emotionally, spiritually, physically, and energetically.
I faced the trauma I never had space to process before. I learned to regulate my nervous system. I studied energetic alignment and identity-based manifestation. And when I finally reemerged, it wasn’t as the old version of me patched together — it was as someone entirely new.
Today, I’m thriving in the real estate world, running a successful business, and living the kind of life I once thought I had missed my chance at. I created The Now Shift
for people like me — those who feel stuck in cycles of lack, trauma, and survival. People who are ready to stop chasing time and start collapsing it.
